Whatever the level of Serotonin, it will not cause hallucinating that a miracle (a resurrected dead or a healed theretofore lifelong invalid or longtime ailing or a sea parted in two with a people walking through) happened if it did not. The Church does not base its teaching on "mystic experiences" but rather evaluates such depending on its teaching. It bases its teaching on a tradition involving a series of miracles not ending to this day and linking back to Adam. Now, a tradition is something other than an experience, mystical or otherwise./HGL
